Young IT Pro...

There is overdemand for IT professionals in India.
Many of us land up with multiple job offers.
Everything is blamed on us, that we are flicker minded and can't make a decision.
All the newspapers and magazines are lined up with articles on how youngsters switch jobs etc etc.; and are blamed for higher attrition rates. As if there is no fault of HR Deptt.

Its not always our fault.
For example XYZ got recruited by firm A, firm B wanted to recruit XYZ as well.
They know XYZ have joined firm A.
Still firm B tries to lure XYZ - by paying for travel, rent advance, arranging accomodation, 30% increase etc etc.

Well, who is spoling us?
It is very clear!!!
Young professionals starting their careers, should not be blamed for it.
It is the management and HR to be blamed!!!
Why do young professionals get blamed for attrition, while HRs of respective firms are to be blamed for it.
They do the poaching, not us ;-)

I still beleive accepting multiple offer letters is a bad thing. It is not-Ethical.
If you have mutiple offers, either make up your mind on the spot.
OR
Tell them, ok guys you have made the offer and I need sometime to think over it.
If you want to wait for 1-2 days fine, else it is ok with me.

Before blaming others, we should first look at our faults.
But, nobody is perfect - how contradicting.
